Caedmon Pipes classes

Tuesdays September 25, October 2, 9, 16, 23, (half term break on 30)  Nov 6, 13, 20, 27, Dec 4 (and possibly a social pub night) at Music Education Centre, Sage Gateshead, 7 - 9 pm (generally first hour accessible tunes, second hour for more experienced players). In parallel with  'Folkworks Tuesdays' £5 per session (£25 per half term) including music and occasional learning CD, and eligibility for daily £1.40 car parking. anthony@robbpipes.com

Pacific Northwest Northumbrian Pipers in Washington State USA have scheduled their annual weekend workshop for April 13th - 14th, with an evening meet and greet on Friday April 12th.  Ian Lawther will be the piping instructor and Mike Sharp from the San Francisco Bay area will guide attendees through pipe and reed maintenance and troubleshooting.  More details later - contact Paul Hickey, plhickey@comcast.net
