My new pride and joy all ready to start work. You will notice I didn't show the rest of the shop due to the fact I had to demolish everything to fit this in.

The Boxford is a lovely tool and probably better for pipemaking than the Myford as it has a larger diameter through the headstock. If it was mine I would get rid of the chuck guard. I have seen more accidents caused by guards on lathes and milling machines than caused by the lack of them. I think that dangerous things are safer if they look dangerous.
