Hedworth Pipes

Postby tomchilds » Thu May 29, 2014 2:45 am

Hello Pipers,
I am fortunate to own a very lovely set of Hedworth pipes with a 9 key chanter. I was wondering if anyone knows if Mr. Hedworth numbered his sets or otherwise uniquely marked each set. Further, I have the original bellows and I would be very interested in getting them restored, any suggestions?
Thank You

Hello Tom

I don't think that Bill numbered his sets. None of the sets that hav passed be me have had numbers. An excellent book on Bill Hedworth has just been published by the NPS. For any restoration the best person is probably Dave McQuade, one of the authors of the book.
