Hi Y'all,

Didn't see a specific place for new member introductions so just posting here. Admin / Mods please move if in wrong place.

Today I officially become an Old Age Piper. I have ordered a set of NSP's in concert G from Ian Ketchin as I am playing with a folk group (Element 15) I created along with our resident music teacher at our local Quakers. We started off as a ukulele group but morphed into a folk group, so at the moment I am playing ukulele and high d & c whistles.

Hope to find helpful advice and support on the forum as I am certainly no expert on the small pipes although I have played both GHB's and Galician Gaita.

Cheers, Eric.
:)

Rather than start a new thread, thought I would just add this here, as I mentioned the pipes in the above post. I have the pipes in my hot little hands now :) !!! I am sure I will have questions on playing them, so hopefully the more established forum members will be able to offer advice when I cry for help.

Eric.

Old age? In bicycling, one is a veteran at 40 years of age.
