I have a personal index which includes bits of paper, course music and other books we have but could easily put together one with all the NSP books on it (except the latest one) and as I am trying to keep it up to date might volunteer to do this. However we do not have the latest Billy Pigg books, so would need to know what is in it extra to the first. I have included the Key in my index whch may be wrong in some cases.

I have had a PM from Hilary Richardson who does have such an index which she is willing to share- it is indexed in individual books at the moment but she think combining it will not be too difficult.

I think the abc is a linked but separate issue and suggest we start a new thread to discuss that? Last time we discussed this, it got into a fascinating discussion on all sort of dialects and software, which merits at least one thread of its own?

I think the index is a nicely bounded 'project' which might grow to include the abc files as well but one step at a time?

Tim says the index is now on the Web site. Sorry to those who have the new Billy Pigg books, I don,t know how different they are from the first one, but page numbers will not be right.

It's here Mike on the NPS site:

http://www.northumbrianpipers.org.uk/in ... unes-index

Apologies if link doesn't open in a new window as requested, not 100% sure how to do that.

Eric.

Hi All, please visit

http://www.northumbrianpipers.org.uk/in ... unes-index where you should find what you are looking for, albeit in a slightly scrunched up format. I have it as a pdf too but that isn't searchable by the site search engine, yet.

This has been supplied by a diligent member. Please report any inaccuracies to me at website@northumbrianpipers.org.uk

cheers

See what happens when you start a reply then walk away for a bit before sending it. Events overtake you and you look a twonk. So you all knew what I just sent anyway.
