1975 letter from Mr Colin Caisley

Postby TeeJay » Sun Dec 16, 2012 3:03 pm

Hi People,
I live in Australia and while clearing out many years of files and letters I came across a lovely letter from Colin which brought back many memories of my early piping days. I had written to Collin asking him about procuring a set of Northumbrian pipes and received a delightful informative reply from him. I'm not in the habit of discarding personal letters as they are all important to me.
I was wondering if Colin was still active with your group. He did mention his children were playing th pipes and I was hoping that they might advise me if their dad is still with us.
I'm still active with the highland pipes and also play a set of Gibson Fireside pipes. Don't play as reguraly as I used to though.
Hope that someone in the forum is able to help.

TeeJay :)
