Liestam NSP. What do you think?

Postby Bill Carr » Sat Mar 09, 2013 12:07 pm

So from some of you who actually are Northumbrian pipers (as opposed to myself who only dabbles in it) What are your opinons on this set? Good and bad.
I have posted some videos on Youtube. The chanter overpowers the drones on the recording. I should have played more side on to the mic.

Just the drones.

Heres an opinion.

I would never - absolutely 100% never - express an opinion about a set of pipes and by implication the maker's skill and integrity on the basis of a videoed demonstration by someone who is an inexperienced player.
