Society Membership

Postby TYNEDOG » Sat Oct 05, 2013 4:54 pm

My parents took out lifetime membership of the Society for me in 1978, I think... I recall it cost £10. Is this still valid? I can't currently find my membership caed or :? number etc but I did win the Junior class at the 1979 annual compitition if that & I are listed anywhere? Can anyone help determine if I'm still a member as I've long since lost the membership secretaries details...

Hi Gary

I would guess that you should email the membership secretary on membership@northumbrianpipers.org.uk
or the NPS secretary Pam Horne on secretary@northumbrianpipers.org.uk

Thanks Mike that's helpful, I've done that.
I only emerged because my Chanter reed split in the hot summer and for the first time in 35 years I needed a replacement part and had no idea where to turn having moved south 30 years ago.
I have ordered stuff from the borders then noticed your e-mail "pipemakers" address, perhaps i should have joined the pipemakers forum - having said that I've only just noticed it...
