Countryfile music choice

Does anybody else find it strange that the BBC chooses Northumbrian Smallpipes as the back ground music for a part of the program in Ireland but has some indeterminate music for the bit based in Northumberland. I can feel a letter to the editor coming on<G>

Nothing surprises me when it comes to the BBC and traditional music. Their attitude varies between neglect and contempt as far as I can see.
