Case recommendations

Postby stevepaterson2 » Wed Aug 27, 2014 11:28 am

Hello all,

I'm a new member and new piper and wonder if anyone can recommend a hard case for my pipes?

Any thoughts please?

Thanks,
Steve

We use hard cases from Gama cases (Bernard Loffet) in France:

Pattern BLSP is produced to dimensions suggested by us. Excellent value (no, we're not on commission!) compared to what you might pay.

Thanks for the tip Richard. I'll look into getting one of these cases.

It's making me think that a hard suitcase of the right size would also do the job with adequate padding.

Best regards,
Steve

Hello Steve - not really a recommendation, but I came across this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-HIGHLAND- ... 2584b5a550

The price (£30) is likely to reflect the quality - but it may serve yours or someone elses needs.

Richard - thanks for the recommendation. I've just ordered one. Into it will go your G set I bought recently from John Lavalley - they survived the journey across the Atlantic very well!
