Looking for tunes associated with Percy family/Alnwick...

Postby MaxPiper » Mon May 18, 2015 9:53 am

Hi all,
I'm looking into playing and researching around the sort of repertoire that is/was associated with the Percy family and their castles (Alnwick and Warkworth). In particular I'm interested in the tunes that have been (and still are) played by the Piper retained by the family, and those of them that are particularly important to the family and family history....
I've already come across most of the usual suspects with Alnwick or Warkworth in the title, but would be grateful for any more too.....
Thanks all!

Contacting the current Duke's piper - Richard Butler - would probably be the most efficient route. He has a website at www.northumbrianpipes.com
