Some pipers nowadays are accidentally (perhaps even deliberately) playing passably well; some are even putting untraditionally-good recordings on youtube and soundcloud.
Should we, collectively, and in a constructive spirit, be advising people how better to mistune their drones, choyte, play at variable tempi and pitches - such as Forster Charlton recorded - and other musical techniques which made the sound of the NSP so recognisable in the 70's?
