Hi John In Cocks' scrapbook there is mention of George Armstrong living at Bearl Farm, Stocksfield (NE43 7AJ). The farm is now an equine veterinary clinic, so I can't pass on the opportunity to remark that his former home is still associated with the Gee-Gees!
There is now a stub article on Archie Dagg on Wikipedia. I should be able to add a little to this, but if there are any gross errors or omissions, please let me know. Sources differ - did he die in 1990 or in 1991? Is there a photo of him playing fiddle anywhere?
