I have both of these photo-copies. Anyone want one or both?

Hello Adrian,
Can you tell us what's in them? IIRC, Pauline Cato was studying G.G. Armstrong's mss? I have Jack Armstrong's book, but don't use it very much.
thanks
John

The J.A. manuscript is not that book of his comp, it's a collection of tunes by Jack.
The other is a collection of tunes from John Dagg Davidson (Kielder Jock?) , handed down to him from Stuart davidson-his uncle.
Barry? Still interested?

Yes, if there are more copies these things stand more chance of surviving and being available.

Jack's is easy to scan, Jock's is a little longer!

The Jock Davidson original is still in private hands, I believe, but a good copy is available at the Chantry (if that's incorrect, then the original is at the Chantry - can't think straight ATM). But as Barry says, the more copies the better - cloud storage!
The NPS appears to have a photocopy of some Jack Armstrong MSS (now at Beamish), the copy dated 1984. Is that the one? I found it in the Forster Charlton collection, which we are starting to sort through.
The other Armstrong family MS I know about is in private hands, though I have an index of the tunes in it.

Barry,
If Adrian uploaded them, could copies be hosted on this site?
I'd be particularly interested in anything from GG.

The problem is the depth of scan (megabytes) uploads to this site. My photo's of yon's pipes (it's a him) in my post earlier, was hard to shrink-down
