DESCRIPTION:20-22 March 2020 3rd Newcastle Piping Festival *****CANCELLED***** \nIt is with great regret and deep disappointment that the Society has reached the decision\, that the only responsible action is to cancel our Third Newcastle Piping Festival\, scheduled to take place on 20-22 March. \nTwo of our performers (from Italy and France) have already had to cancel because of travel restrictions imposed and the forecast growth in the number of cases in the UK\, over the next few weeks\, makes it increasingly unwise to proceed. \nWe must put people’s safety first. \nIt is currently our intention to try to reschedule the festival\, so please watch out for future announcements. \nWe will be offering a full refund to anyone who has already bought tickets to attend. \nAndrew Davison\nNPS Chairman
