SUMMARY:East of England Pipeworks
DESCRIPTION:We’re really pleased that we’re going to be running another East of England Pipeworks Day at Bar Hill\, just outside Cambridge\, on 19 November. It will be a great opportunity to meet old friends\, make new friends and play lots of music together. \nAs in past\, pre-Covid\, days there will be play-around sessions (so bring your tune books and suggestions of tunes we can play together) and themed sessions led by members of the Cambridge piping group. In addition Francis Wood will be available to give 1-1 or small group support to anyone who would like it. \nWe’ll provide teas and coffees\, but bring your own lunch\, or pop round to the nearby fish and chip shop. There is also a large Tesco’s nearby.\nWe can collect people from Cambridge North railway station if you plan to come from London by train (and take them back at the end of the day). There’s a train that leaves Kings Cross at 9.42\, due at Cambridge North at 10.39 that would be suitable. \nThe cost for the day will be £10 per person. \nTo book a place please contact David Somerville at dsomerv@aol.com or telephone 01223 290890.\nPlease let David know if you would like to be collected from Cambridge North station at 10.39.

With the current COVID-19 situation it has been decided to host this year’s event as a virtual concert and provide the opportunity for even more people to attend this key event in the society calendar. \nWhen purchasing this ticket from our online shop\, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the NPS concert page. The event will be live from 7pm (UK time) on Saturday 10th October and will be available for delayed viewing and reruns for 5 days. Tickets will be available from the shop until Thursday 15th October.
