East of England Pipeworks

We’re really pleased that we’re going to be running another East of England Pipeworks Day at Bar Hill, just outside Cambridge, on 19 November. It will be a great opportunity to meet old friends, make new friends and play lots of music together.

As in past, pre-Covid, days there will be play-around sessions (so bring your tune books and suggestions of tunes we can play together) and themed sessions led by members of the Cambridge piping group. In addition Francis Wood will be available to give 1-1 or small group support to anyone who would like it.

We’ll provide teas and coffees, but bring your own lunch, or pop round to the nearby fish and chip shop. There is also a large Tesco’s nearby.
We can collect people from Cambridge North railway station if you plan to come from London by train (and take them back at the end of the day). There’s a train that leaves Kings Cross at 9.42, due at Cambridge North at 10.39 that would be suitable.

The cost for the day will be £10 per person.
