Lunchtime concert and afternoon fun to open the Newcastle Piping Festival:
- 1pm-2pm – Concert featuring the pipes of Britain and Ireland
- 2pm-3pm – Try the Pipes! Northumbrian smallpipes and border-style mouthblown student pipes
- 3pm-4pm – From Asturias to Macedonia – informal tunes session featuring our visiting performers
