The 52nd Morpeth Northumbrian Gathering was held on the weekend of 26-28 April 2019, and hosted an array of wonderful piping events as well as presenting a huge cross section of Northumbrian arts and culture.
The piping competitions were judged by Chris Ormston, with John Hindmarsh winning the beginners class, Sarah Tym the open, and former open smallpipes winner Edric Ellis taking the open for half-long pipes.
Keith Davison ran a fantastic piping session on the Saturday evening, this year hosted by The Black & Grey pub.
