NPS Annual Concert 2024

We are delighted to announce that NPS Annual Concert will take place at 7.30pm on Friday 4 October 2024, at the wonderful Coquetdale Music Trust venue at the The Old Church, Thropton (plus livestream).

Our lineup for the evening is:

JEZ LOWE – acclaimed North East singer and guitarist, known for his characteristic performances blending humor and poignant story-telling with memorable melodies – https://www.jezlowe.com/ 

CAMUS – Cambridge-based five-piece with a Northumbrian vibe, featuring three pipers and four sets of pipes! Camus are: Andrew Burn (Northumbrian smallpipes, melodeon, vocals), Brian Cleary (guitar, vocals, bouzouki), Edric Ellis (Northumbrian smallpipes, border pipes), Greg Smith (fiddle, viola) and David Somerville (Northumbrian smallpipes, keyboard) – https://camusmusic.net/

RUTH BROWN – Redesdale-born fiddler player, ceilidh musician and caller, member of ensembles such as Cross the Wannies and the Reiver Divas – and MC extraordinaire! – Ruth will also be our compere for the evening.

YOUNG PIPERS GROUP – star players Sophie Fraser, Tilly Lamb and Sasha Lamb.
